100 jears of Villa Tassoni's History
The Villa was built towards the end of 1800 by architect Amendola, ordered by His Excellency, the General Count Giulio Cesar Tassoni,appointed Gorvernor of Cirenaica by Victor Emmanuel III King of Italy. This Villa was the Roman home of Count Tassoni's family for many years. In 1950 the Villa was turned into a three star Hotel, the first hotel in Monte Mario district and many famous people used it. In 1980 it was restructured and joined to the adjacent Villa Cametti. It was classified as 1 st class (or 4-star) Residence by the Provincial Tourist Authority (E.P.T.) of Rome
